Punit Shah is the founder and Managing Partner of SPMCA (erstwhile proprietorship firm Punit Shah & Associates) which was established in 2010. He has 18 years of experience in tax litigation focusing on Goods and Service Tax (GST), Service Tax, Excise, Customs, VAT laws, Foreign Trade Policy, and Income Tax; Tax & Management consulting; due diligence; virtual CFO services; etc.

Punit has worked on Direct & Indirect Tax Advisory, Due Diligence, Compliance and Litigation for multi-national companies (MNCs), large corporates, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Owner Managed Businesses, Not for profit organisations, etc, and also has hands on experience of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and other Tax & Regulatory matters.

Prior to founding the firm, Punit has worked with Ernst & Young, and A R Krishnan & Co, Chartered Accountants – Leading Indirect Tax Consultant.
